A scoring machine has won January’s ESPN Tri-Cities Male Athlete of the Month.

Senior Luke Bailey of Ansley/Litchfield High School wins this month's award after putting up several monster scoring performances this year.

He opened the year with triple double, scoring 37 points while collecting 14 rebounds and stealing the ball away from the other team 10 times.

He set a new Ansley/Litchfield single-game scoring record with a 47 point, 14 rebound double-double against Central Valley, and had a 42 point performance on 67% shooting against Overton.

Bailey is averaging 25.5 points, 10.8 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 4.2 steals per game so far in the 2024-25 season.

His scoring numbers currently put him in a three-way tie as the second-highest scorer in the state, on a per game basis.

Bailey has scored at least one-third of his teams total points 12 times this year.
