My name is Jake Bartecki, and I am the Sports Director/Reporter for KWBE-Beatrice. I will also be the play-by-play voice of Beatrice Orangemen athletics.

I was born and raised in Chicago, IL. Growing up in Chicago, (yes, I actually grew up IN Chicago) I have a natural love for sports. I also love being social and talking with people, which made sports broadcasting perfect for me. I attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and spent my time there as an announcer and sports director for the student radio station. I’m a huge fan of the Chicago White Sox, Blackhawks, Bulls, as well as the Green Bay Packers. In addition, I’m and avid fan of NASCAR, and I love to golf, played on the club golf team at UNL, fish, and be outdoors.
